With the Indoor season winding down, we’ve been preparing for the launch of our 2018 Outdoor leagues.
This year there will be a few changes, but we think you’re going to like them.
For starters, we’re making the Bruce Avenue fields ground zero for all leagues. As you may know, KASA donated $10,000 to the Bruce Ave lighting project that was spearheaded by EMC Power Canada Inc in 2017. Now that the lights are up and working, they are begging to be used by us!
The 11-on-11 league will remain on Mondays, but the 6-on-6 league will now be available exclusively on Thursdays. This is a small change from the Tuesday/Thursday schedule we offered last year, and comes on the heels of your feedback from last year.
Registration is officially open now and will remain open until April 30 unless we sell out before then.

Registration fees vary depending on the league, but include a jersey, cost of field rental and maintenance and referees (for Mondays). We generally run on the not-for-profit side of things and always aim to keep fees as low as possible. That being said, annual fundraisers such as our tournaments allow us to raise money that we put towards community projects we feel aligned with; like the Bruce Ave lighting project and Canadian Tire Jump Start program (learn more about the Jump Start program here).
If you are new to KASA and wondering if it is right for you, here’s a little more about us…
First and foremost we are an all inclusive league of soccer loving people from all calibers of skill. We are a co-ed league open to anyone 18 years or older.
Our number one goal is to provide a fun and lightly competitive outlet to anyone wishing to buck up on their footy skills or simply get out and socialize.
Joining one of our leagues is a great way to broaden your social circle and keep you active throughout the year.
Many of our members have been with us since the beginning, but we’re always looking to bring in fresh meat and expand our membership.
