ANTICIPATED SKILL LEVEL

If you have every played in one of our KASA leagues before, then you know we welcome players of all abilities and skill levels. That being said, this particular tournament tends to attract players of a higher skill level and is more competitive than our typical leagues.

While this tournament is recreational, we want to be 100% transparent, and do not advise beginners to join. This is the one opportunity each year that we present our more skilled players with the chance to dig their heels in, quicken the pace, and get a little more competitive.

If you’re bummed by this, we totally hear you. Fret not – our outdoor Fall tournament is appropriate for players of any skill level so look out for that registration dropping in a few months!

PLAYER EXPECTATIONS

When the competition is fierce, things can get heated. We understand that emotions can get the best of us sometimes, but we want all registered tournament players to understand that we absolutely do not tolerate unsportsmanlike behaviour of any kind.

There will be ZERO TOLERANCE for any unsportsmanlike behaviour, including, but not limited to, verbal and physical harassment/abuse to either a player, referee, linesman, or Tournament Liaison.

At the end of the day we want you to have a great time, and be proud of your behaviour. Keep in mind that refunds will not be issued for any team that has been disqualified on these grounds.

REGISTRATION EXPECTATIONS

Teams will be required to submit their full team roster by Friday, April 7, 2023. There is a 5 player MINIMUM and 10 player MAXIMUM. Note, 1 female SHALL be on the pitch at all times, so plan your roster accordingly.

Once you have registered a team, Kiley Stewart or Sabrina Miller (your Tournament Liaisons) will be in touch with you to collect roster details. You have until the week before the tournament to build your roster, at which point, if a rostered player is unable to play, please let them know to discuss next steps.

Substitutions on the day-of will not be accepted unless there are extenuating circumstances.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

The money raised from this tournament goes towards Community Projects and charities, and back into the league itself.
