The weather has moderately improved, which means outdoor season is right around the corner!
Registration will run from April 28 through May 15, 2022. In the event that a league sells out before this, you will have the option to join the Wait List.
Before we dive into the particular, we want to let you know that we’re shaking things up a bit this year…
As always, we will host a 6-on-6 no-goalie league….BUT based on the success of the fall tournament, we’ve decided to host a 7-on-7 league for the whole summer! The 7-on-7 league will have larger nets, goalies and referees. The field will also be slightly larger than the 6-on-6 league. All leagues will be played on the Bruce Ave adult soccer field under the lights.
Here’s what you need to know:
League – 7-on-7 WITH Goalies and Refs (bigger nets)
- League Start – Monday, June 6, 2022
- Game Times – between 6:30-9:30PM
- Game Length – 25 min halves with 5 min half-time
- Location – Bruce Avenue fields, Kincardine
- Fees – If you need a new set of jerseys $125 each. If you don’t need jerseys (you already have an orange and blue KASA jersey from the indoor season): $105.
League – Thursday 6-on-6 with NO Goalies (small nets)
- League Start – Thursday, June 9, 2022
- Game Times – between 6:30PM-9:30PM
- Game Length – 25 min halves with 5 min half-time
- Location – Bruce Avenue fields, Kincardine
- Fees – If you need a new set of jerseys $75 each. If you don’t need jerseys (you already have an orange and blue KASA jersey from the indoor season): $55.
A few housekeeping notes:
- We have implemented a Jersey Sustainability Program, so if this is your first time playing you will receive 2 jerseys (Blue and Orange). If you already have your set from playing indoor, you will have a few options during registration to either purchase another set or not. Note: The schedule will reflect which team is to wear which colour, so please pay attention to this.
- Shin Pads are MANDATORY for Monday night leagues and Referees have the authority to remove you from the game if you do not wear them. Unfortunately we cannot regulate this on Thursdays, but we HIGHLY recommend the use of them at all times for your own safety
- Guaranteed matches work when two individuals choose each other. For example, if Kiley wants to match with Michelle, then Michelle must list Kiley as her guaranteed match for this to be accepted
- Continue to self-assess for COVID symptoms. If you are experiencing any, please be courteous and do not come to your game until you are symptom-free for 24hrs
